drinking some tim hortons hot chocolate. oh my.
I’m in Canada again. Calgary, specifically. Can I tell you how exciting that is for me? I actually got giddy butterflies in my stomach as the plane began its descent yesterday. And I just have to say that the hotel that I am staying in, the Hyatt Regency, is possibly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in (as far as service, planning, accommodations, comfort, and location.) I love it. If I could afford it I might consider living here in this hotel. It sits on Stephen Avenue, which is a wonderful downtown, pedestrian only, shopping area. The weather is cool and dry. The sky is bright blue. If I wasn’t sitting in a board meeting, shoving a pencil in my eye, I might think I was in heaven.

I loved Calgary! I went there for a conference last October and stayed at the Westin. If you're up for an adventure, there's an awesome Hungarian (the real deal) restaurant in town. While I can't remember the name, it's in town and the concierge should be able to find it for you. You can walk--it's a bit of a walk--or take a cab. It's just a small, hole-in-the-wall place but my roomie was from Hungary and we went together and it was really fun. Just a small family-owned place. Miss you!
Word. I'm SO there, like, tomorrow.
Have you told them you're trying to make a baby?
Please wait until I'm there to watch.
How are my people? I hear Calgary is cool but all I remember from it was the Zoo. Cool Zoo, though. :)
Hi Jennifer - It was so fun to meet you in Calgary! When I got home from our little visit, I told my husband that I could see why our dear Elder Hsu married you - you are such a delight! Next time you come to Calgary, we would love to have you bring Sungti with you!
So, did you get a chance to try the Second Cup hot chocolate?
I visit your blog quite frequently but have never left a comment. I like your stuff. (By the way, this is Scott.)
