i-130

Last night, as we were filling out the forms that we need to change Somebody’s status in the United States from “student” to “resident alien,” (and keep in mind here that I was filling it out with the intent to submit it after we are married) I checked the box marked “Married.” Somebody giggled (Giggled! And possible squealed.) and said, “Doesn’t it feel great to check that box? Married.”

Ridiculously, I think I rolled my eyes at him. Like, “Oh, married? I’m not even phased by this marriage talk you throw at me. I have totally done this before and I don’t even need to get worked up AT ALL about this.” Silly me.

Married? WHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
